Description

I worked on the motion graphics for this A24 and StudioCanal feature film. The scene involved motion graphics themed around the Bocuse D’Or cooking competition at the climax of the film.
The project required research into the real life Bocuse D’Or competition as the film is a realistic depiction of the event, but I also took inspiration from the Art Direction on set as well, to create a digital animated combination of the two. As the graphics, and especially the timer was a crutial part of the tension of the scene it was important to design the graphics so they were easy to follow, informative — and good looking! All in order to help tell the story of the scene as best I could.
